Rotherham Metro aim to become a sustainable international Water Polo Club by 2012. To do this we will require financial sponsorship to develop the next generation of players and maintain our 10 year status in the top flight of British Water Polo.
There will be a significant opportunity to advertise your enterprise not only on this site but also on club kit throughout the club. With frequent press coverage and a host of current/previous international players this is a club for the future with a fantastic history.
What started as a small town club quickly developed into a regional force. Rotherham Metro established themselves in the top league and became the pride of Yorkshire Water Polo. Finally on the 24th of February 2008 Rotherham Metro Water Polo club were crowned British Water Polo Champions 2008 after several years of falling at the final hurdle.
Rotherham Metro regularly gain PR coverage and exposure nationally. In 2008 alone no fewer than 10 half / full page articles appeared in the Rotherham Advertiser. Frequent articles are also written in the Sheffield Star. Also in 2008 Rotherham Metro appeared on BBC Breakfast where brave host Mike Bushell participated in a local derby against Sheffield. Donations to Rotherham Metro Water Polo Club are very welcome indeed. Every donation plays a vital part helping the club buy essential equipment to develop our juniors all the way through to the senior squad.
